At the origin of ENERISK

The origin of ENERISK is the meeting of 3 people with rich entrepreneurial experience and recognized in their respective fields. Laure, Jean and Guillaume agreed on the same observation: project owners in the energy and natural resources sector lacked a specialized broker with long-term support and who could provide its clients with a global vision of their risks and how to manage them.

Laure Pironneau Morris – Managing Director and co-founder

Her expertise

Through her experience in the banking and consulting industry as a business leader at COFARCO and then at ENERIOM, Laure has had the opportunity to work on a wide range of transactions, including reserve-based lending, project finance facilities, tailored financing structures including mezzanine financing, capital raising, M&A transactions and acquisition financing. She has acquired a solid expertise in the implementation of such financing solutions as well as in the risks inherent to these projects.

Her professional life

Laure started her career at NATIXIS as a relationship manager: she spent more than 4 years managing the bank’s client relationships in the energy, environment and construction sectors. Laure then moved to NATIXIS as a Managing Director in the field of structured commodity finance, where she managed the Africa and Middle East desk for 4 years and, before that, the Russian energy desk for 3 years.

Laure then joined STANDARD BANK in London for 4 years as Director in charge of the development and coordination of the bank’s service offerings to the oil & gas and renewable energy markets.

Laure worked for 10 years at COFARCO as an Executive Partner, where she founded and managed the Project and Natural Resources Finance advisory division.

In 2021, Laure founded ENERIOM Advisory to take over the Project and Natural Resources Finance advisory department of COFARCO. The entire team joins ENERIOM Advisory, maintaining the same ability to offer its clients the high level of excellence they have been striving to achieve for years.

Laure participates in the creation of ENERISK in 2022 via its holding company and becomes its Managing Director in February 2022.

Laure is a graduate of EDHEC and has a degree in business policy (with distinction) from the London School of Economics (LSE).
